Happy Thirsty Thursday everyone!
Our team is pairing up with Daniel Michael and his team for a wine tasting and dinner event this Friday at Valley Vineyards in Morrow, Ohio. We are excited for this occasion, so we figured we’d share a little bit of info about Valley Vineyards.

Valley Vineyards began when owner Ken Schuchter filled 20 acres of farmland with grapes in 1969 and everything flourished from there. Soon after the first Valley Vineyards Wine Festival occurred in 1971, dining rooms, a kitchen and bar were created and weekend cookouts were introduced.

Despite a fire almost destroying the vineyard in June 1983, the Schuchter family rebuilt the winery less than a year later and that only added fuel to their fire (pun intended). Valley Vineyards continued to win awards for their unique ice wine, white and red wines at the state and national level in the years following.
In 2012, Cellar Dweller Brewery was created to add craft beers to their tasting room. Today, this family-owned and operated winery and brewery is a place for people to enjoy good drinks and food with friends and family.

Now that we know a little history about this winery, we are ready for our event tomorrow evening. Stay tuned for a follow up post on our experience!
