It’s hard to believe football season is almost over! This one ended on a rough note for my beloved Bengals… but I’m ready for the big game Sunday. looking forward to what I hope is an awesome game pairing a high-powered offense against a stellar defense. So if you are excited and ready to prep for the big game, we have some awesome ideas for you. Kristen from Five Dot Design created some kick ass printables for the game this year. If you want something a more team neutral, you can check out the printables from last year as well.
First I want to share some quick and easy ways to feed a crowd. And the best part, guests can easily graze during the game or get a quick bite at half time. Most of the options should be pretty low maintenance for the host and self-serve for the guests.

We’ve come up with a few fun ways to keep your guests entertained – even if the game is a blowout. And you know there are bound to be a handful of guests who aren’t really into the game at all, not to mention all of the littles running around (we usually have enough to field our own team at our house) – so give them some incentive to keep watching (or quiet if we are talking about the kids).
Before the game starts, have all of your guests put in $1, $5, or $10, based on how large you want your pool. Put all of the names of the big playmakers in a hat. Have each guest draw out a name. At the end of the game, whoever’s player is named MVP wins the pot! If your party is on the smaller side, put the most popular players names into the pool to ensure that the MVP will be chosen. We’ve made is SUPER easy for you. Just click here to download our free printable player guide & get cutting.
There are a million and one variations of this game… okay, maybe we are exaggerating, but the point it is – it’s a flexible and fun game to keep even non-football fans into the game.
Studio DIY created some fantastic printable bingo cards. Print it out (10 cards total, on five sheets), cut them out and play during the game and commercials. Have a few small prizes on hand for the winners. Free download is available here.
