Spring has finally arrived and there is nothing more refreshing than sangria this time of the year. I am personally a huge fan of cucumbers in my drink after trying the Naked in Newport cocktail from Igby’s (try it). So how about cucumber sangria? Can’t wait to try this recipe!
1 small honeydew melon
1 seedless cucumber, thinly sliced
1 lime, thinly sliced
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup honey
1 750 milliliter bottle Sauvignon blanc or semi-dry white wine, chilled
1 liter bottle carbonated water, chilled
2. To serve, stir in carbonated water. Ladle or pour into glasses and enjoy!
