So many things to consider during this exciting time. First, and to many the most important, the ring. Will it be a full Carat, will there be diamonds on the band, he better know all about the details of the cut and clarity. Am I going to be the first fiancé to want to change my ring? It’s nerve wracking, but such a thrill. If your guy isn’t willing to go look at rings together, than subtle hints like leaving a magazine picture open on the counter, or a site up the internet might do the trick. Make sure you have a close friend who knows your ring size, and ALL about what you want also! This is a forever investment, so make sure your man knows your expectations.
He has the ring, now is the tough part, the proposal. If you guy is creative, or romantic, he may not need any help in this category. If not, thankfully the internet is a huge resource in giving your guy “a clue” as to what to do. These photos will also most likely be instrumental in your wedding planning. From save the dates, to table numbers, to cake table displays, there are a million ways to use your engagement photos on your big day. Make sure to do your homework and do a lot of research on your photographer, as they will likely be photographing your wedding as well. You want to be sure personalities click, and you like their style of photography. This photo shoot will probably be the most fun one your ever do, as your wedding day will be much more involved, and later in life you may be towing fussing children along. So get dolled up, do a trial run with your makeup, and show off that new flashy ring, and your newly engaged selves!
